6 June 2018 – clauses (3) and (4)a have been amended to reflect the change of name from Doctor of Industries/Professions, to Doctor of Philosophy (Innovation). The change of name was approved by the Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Officer on 30 June 2017, and finalised by TEQSA on 19 July 2017. Clause 8 of this procedure has been amended to remove the reference to the UNE Ombudsman. The UNE Council took the decision to discontinue the UNE Ombudsman and the UNE Ombudsman Rule was rescinded 12/8/2016.
