Summary of Changes from Previous Version

This Policy has been reviewed and amended in accordance with changes to external policy material and with advice from the Department of Education and Training. Amendments included a timeframe for students to be notified of an outcome of their RTP Scholarship application; clarification relating to industry placements, research internships and professional practice during a student's HDR candidature (and incorporation into their research plan); and a statement relating to the transition of students from the Research Training Scheme to the Research Training Program on 1 January 2017.

Clauses Amended: clause 4(d-f) removed; clause 13 inserted; clause 18(d) inserted; new clause 21(a-b) inserted, new clause 22 inserted; clauses renumbered accordingly.

13/03/2018 clause 6(c)i amended to include healthcare for the spouse and dependents of eligible international students; clause 6(c)iii included to incorporate $1000 allowance.
