Summary of Changes from Previous Version

20/10/2022 – Council Noted Administrative Change: Replace Guideline (or plurals) with Policy (or plurals) in title and within document. Changes approved by Council on 27th May 2022.

Clauses amended: 1,2, 3, 4, 9f, 12, Table – Follows the process outlined in these guidelines, 48, 49, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55b, 58.

Under the funding agreement between the Commonwealth and UNE (under the Higher Education Support Act 2003), UNE is required to receive the Commonwealth’s approval to withdraw certain courses. The changes separate the course withdrawal and suspension workflow processes to meet this requirement.

New workflow documents have been published with the policy. Please ensure that you use these workflow when suspending or withdrawing a course.
