Summary of Changes from Previous Version

Key amendments include:
• a new section on academic integrity and its promotion at UNE;
• simplified categories of breaches of academic integrity, including reflecting current trends and risks;
• fixing of identified gaps in the investigation and determination process;
• introduction of the category of �~poor academic practice’ for more minor breaches of academic integrity;
• changes to available penalties to reflect educative approach and eliminate redundant penalties; and
• creation of a guidance document to assist decision-makers.
