Reporting Wrongdoing at UNE Policy
Reporting Wrongdoing at UNE Policy
This policy establishes a framework at the University of New England (UNE) for reporting and investigating allegations of wrongdoing, without fear of reprisal. The framework sets out:
- how UNE will deal with a report of wrongdoing and UNE’s other responsibilities under the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (PID Act) and the protection of whistleblower provisions in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (Corporations Act) Part 9.4AAA;
- how UNE will support and protect a person who makes a report;
- who to contact if anyone at UNE wants to make a report;
- how to make a report; and
- the protections that are available to a person making a report under the PID Act and the Corporations Act.
Please read through the entire Policy and ensure you fully understand the requirements of the Policy. If you have any questions, in the first instance please discuss with your Supervisor, otherwise you can send an email to governance@une.edu.au
