Complaint Form

The Student Grievance Unit (SGU) encourages you to attempt to informally resolve your concerns with the person/s directly involved, their supervisor/s or the head of the business unit before making a formal complaint.

The Student Grievance Unit is the single reference point nominated by the Vice Chancellor for the submission, recording, management, referral and monitoring of student related complaints.

Who should complete this form
This form is for UNE staff members, current, past and future students, and members of the community who would like to submit a complaint.

You may wish to refer to the Complaints Process document before completing this form.

When submitting a complaint to the Student Grievance Unit, you should be aware that in order to properly investigate the issue/s raised, details of the complaint may be supplied to the University business unit/s involved.

If you wish your complaint to remain anonymous, please clearly state this when you complete the online complaint form.

How to access this form
To lodge your complaint, you will need to login and complete the Complaint form. The SGU can then easily contact you if additional information is required for an investigation, and you can keep track of your complaint through the 'My History' tab in AskUNE.

If you do not have an account with UNE you will be prompted to create one before proceeding to submit your complaint.
