A previous iteration of the Animal Ethics Committee Terms or Reference was endorsed by the Research Committee on 23 September, 2020 and endorsed by the Academic Board and approved by the Vice Chancellor on December 11, 2020. This current version with minor amendments was endorsed by the Academic Board via Flying Minute on 22 December, 2020 and approved by the Vice Chancellor on December 22, 2020. This latest version makes amendments to the wording in two clauses. In clause 2 (b) (ii) the words ‘enforce compliance within’ have been amended to ‘enforce compliance in accordance with’ and in clause 3 (c) ‘is minimised’ is amended to ‘are minimised’.
