Summary of Changes from Previous Version

It has been identified through various forums that there has been a policy gap in relation to Course Coordinators and Unit Coordinators. While there is a current Course Coordinator Policy and Course Coordinator Procedures, these documents do not reflect the broad range of Course Coordinator responsibilities as outlined in other policy documents (including the General Rules). In relation to Unit Coordinators, there is no specific policy relating to appointment and duties with instead several responsibilities being outlined in various policies.

This new Course and Unit Coordinator Policy is designed to provide a consolidated overview of the appointment process for, and responsibilities of, Course Coordinators and Unit Coordinators. It is not intended to be an exhaustive list of every Course Coordinator and Unit Coordinator responsibility, but provide an overview of the key functions with reference to more detailed functions in the relevant policy.

The Course Coordinator Procedures will be expired in light of this policy changes. Changes have also been made to the General Rules
